Well, we made it back from Ecuador without causing an international incident! Our original plan called for us to surf the Northern part of Ecuador, moving to a new spot every couple of days. As it turned out we drove all night Sunday after we arrived to take advantage of a new swell at a left point called  San Mateo. We got there the same day as the swell and stayed there the whole week. Why drive away from a great breaking wave? We surfed two sessions a day at the left point break with conditions that varied from 6 foot up to 10/12 foot. 100-400 yards rides where the norm. I'll post a few pictures now with the better ones to come later!

Me looking out over the pool...                The streets double as a boat parking lot!       Can you walk on water?

Ecuador is for lovers!                             Down town San Mateo..                        The plans for a Tuna facility that will
